Location:Whiting, WI Description: Summer Vacation Relief- Whiting, WI Starting Pay: $28.12/hour. Per CBA language, work performed on Sundays and contractual holidays is paid at double time. Schedule: Shift work, including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime.Shifts are typically 8hours inlength, butmay be as long as 12 hours and occasionally16hours.Summer Vacation Reliefs may beutilizedas early as May 4, 2026, but not longer thanSeptember 13, 2026.SummerVacation Reliefsaccrueno seniority and may be laid off orterminatedat the discretion of the Company at any time during this period. As aSummer Vacation Relief, you will play a vital role in supporting multiple departments within the mill. This hands-on position involves driving powered industrial vehicles, operating cranes, monitoring production equipment, and working alongside Operators on paper machine and converting assets. Responsibilities: Follow all safety procedures and promote a safe work environment Communicate effectively in both team-based and self-directed settings Assistin the paper-making process by performing tasks such as: Preparing stock for use Threading paper machines and winders Operating overhead cranes Transporting rolls using powered industrial vehicles Loading and unloading paper in production areas Moving finished product to the shipping department Qualifications: Required First consideration will be given to: (1) individuals previously employed with the Whiting Milland (2) children of active employees. 18 years of ageor older. High school diploma or GED. Abilityto workrotatingshifts, includingnights, weekends,andholidays. Abilityto pass pre-employment physical capabilities test, pre-employment drug/alcoholscreeninganda backgroundcheck. Preferred Manufacturingor other process related experiencepreferred butnotrequired. Fulltimeenrollmentin an accreditedcollege or university POSITION DEMANDS: This positionoperatesin a manufacturing environment with varying temperatures, dust, odors, and potential exposure to mechanical, electrical, and chemical hazards. Employees must wearrequiredPPE (e.g., safety shoes, glasses, hearing protection, gloves). Physical demands include: Lifting upto 50lbs, pushingup to 108lbs, pulling up to 60 lbs.
