Field Service Technician - IT Support Location: Charleston County, SC Work Environment: Onsite (job sites within assigned zone) Employment Type: Longterm contract with opportunity for permanent conversion Experience Level: Intermediate Our client is seeking a Field Service Technician to support 8-10 assigned sites. This is a handson IT role supporting classroom and administrative technology that directly impacts teachers and students. Responsibilities Onsite IT support at K12 schools Troubleshoot laptops, desktops, tablets, printers, SMART/Promethean Boards Diagnose hardware/software issues before replacing devices Perform deployments, configurations, and connectivity support Tickets escalated from Help Desk Requirements IT / Desktop Support experience Windows 10 & Windows 11 troubleshooting Hardware repair & deployment Strong customer service with nontechnical users A+ or equivalent handson experience Why work for this company Support technology across 90+ sites Stable, missiondriven public sector environment Autonomy in the field with team support Opportunity to convert to permanent and receive state benefits, plus a pension.
