Medical Assistant - OBGYN * Encinitas, CA (OBGYN Clinic - 1 Primary Location)* * Monday-Friday \| 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM* We are seeking an experienced Medical Assistant with OBGYN experience to join a busy and compassionate outpatient clinic in Encinitas. This role is ideal for a patientfocused MA who enjoys supporting women's health and working closely with providers in a collaborative clinical setting. What You'll Do As a Medical Assistant, you'll play a key role in supporting providers and delivering highquality patient care. * Support physicians and clinical teams by preparing patients and exam rooms for OBGYN procedures * Collect and document patient histories, vital signs, and clinical information * Address patient questions and concerns while ensuring a positive care experience * Schedule appointments, take and route messages, and coordinate patient followups * Set up cases and document care provided in EPIC for provider review * Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR) * Perform services within scope following completion of required competency programs What We're Looking For Required Qualifications * OBGYN experience required * Completion of an MA program or MA certification (or 2 years of experience as a military corpsman) * BLS certification (AHA - Healthcare Provider) * Minimum 1 year of recent experience as a Medical Assistant * High school diploma or equivalent Preferred Qualifications * At least 1 year of outpatient MA experience * EPIC experience (1+ year strongly preferred) Work Schedule & Environment * Fulltime:* 8hour shifts, Monday-Friday (8:00 AM - 5:00 PM) Outpatient OBGYN clinic setting Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Encinitas, CA. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $22.00 - $27.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
