Assistant Director of Environment of Care

Location: Westborough, MA. Statewide travel required.

Schedule: Full-time, minimum of 40 hours per week.

Salary: $70,000-$80,000/annually. Exempt position.

The Assistant Director of Environment of Care (EOC) is responsible for:

• Managing the overall environment of care for all properties owned or leased by Spectrum.
• Key responsibilities include directing maintenance and environmental activities at these properties
• Manage EOC staff and approve payroll and Paid Time Off
• Approve EOC staff expense reports.
• Negotiating contracts and handling issues with vendors.
• Conducting building inspections and managing the maintenance ticketing system.
• Developing departmental goals and implements plans such as HVAC PM programs and other best practices for upkeep of facilities.
• Must be able to work the hours required to meet the business needs of the organization including the ability to work more than 40 hours in a work week.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of high school diploma or GED required
• Minimum of five years experience in maintenance, general construction, or related field is required.
• Minimum of two years experience in managing environments of care is preferred.
• Trade certificate or license preferred.
• Strong background in HVAC installation, maintenance and service.
• One year experience negotiating contracts with vendors is required.
• Must have excellent verbal, social and writing skills.
• Strong computer skills including Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, etc. Experience with facility specific software such a PM or workorder software, scheduling software, or DDC or other building management software preferred.
