Job Description

Job Summary:

  • Will focus on developing and optimizing CMM programs to support precision manufacturing and quality assurance processes.
  • This role requires advanced knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T), experience with Catia and 3DX, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • The programmer will collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to ensure dimensional accuracy and compliance with design specifications, while effectively communicating results to stakeholders.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, write, and optimize CMM programs using Zeiss Calypso software to support manufacturing and quality assurance processes.
  • Interpret and apply GD&T requirements to create accurate and efficient CMM programs for complex rotorcraft components and assemblies.
  • Collaborate with design and engineering teams to review technical drawings and 3D models, ensuring proper programming for dimensional validation.
  • Utilize Catia and 3DX to interpret 3D models and integrate design data into CMM programming.
  • Maintain and update CMM programs to reflect design changes, process improvements, and evolving quality standards.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for CMM programming and operation.
  • Prepare and deliver documentation, reports, and presentations using Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Access, Word, and Excel).



Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's Degree

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Advanced proficiency in Zeiss Calypso software for CMM programming.
  • Strong knowledge of GD&T principles and their application in programming and manufacturing processes.
  • 3-5 yrs of experience in developing and validating CMM programs for complex components and assemblies.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Access, Word, and Excel).
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to interface with executive management, customers, and cross-functional teams.



Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • Experience with Catia and 3DX for reviewing and interpreting 3D models and technical drawings.
  • Familiarity with aerospace or rotorcraft manufacturing processes and quality standards.
