What's new with Aptar The Manager, Operational Excellence Supply Chain drives global performance improvement by standardizing, scaling, and deploying best practices and by leading cross-regional initiatives that improve customer satisfaction, safety, and P&L impact across Aptar's supply chain network.This role operates "from analysis to deployment," mobilizing site and regional teams and strengthening capabilities through standardized and increasingly automated processes. Scope & Key Interfaces Scope: Global, multi-site / multi-region supply chain processes and performance, leveraging Aptar BPM communities and governance, working with site leadership and supply chain teams to build and execute improvement roadmaps and master plans. - Site Supply Chain teams (Planning, Customer Service / SOM, Warehouse, Transportation, Master Data)
- Regional OE / Process stakeholders (BPC/BPE networks and communities)
- Business & Digital/IS stakeholders for systems/process adoption and automation initiatives
This is how your journey begins 1) Standardize & Scale Global Best Practices
- Identify, document, and deploy standard processes, templates, governance, and tools across regions and sites.
- Drive harmonization efforts for core SC ways of working
- S&OP, Planning, Customer Service, Logistic
2) Lead Cross-Regional OE Programs & Projects
- Manage multi-site initiatives with strong execution discipline (scope, timeline, stakeholders), ensuring consistent roll-out and knowledge transfer.
- Contribute to the governance and cadence of global project review
- Support both CapEx and non-CapEx improvement initiatives; coordinate with sites to clarify scope, timing, and readiness.
3) Performance Management, Benchmarking & Analytics
- Monitor global supply chain performance through KPI tracking and benchmarking, and translate insights into prioritized improvement actions.
4) Build Capability & Strengthen the Community Model
- Play an active role in leading/animating communities of process experts and supporting continuous improvement culture across the network.
- Ensure effective networking and communication routines across process experts (BPE ecosystem).
- Coach sites on defining and executing OE roadmaps/master plans aligned to value creation (risk reduction, lead time, productivity, cost optimization, working capital improvement).
- Support adoption of OE frameworks and tracking routines for initiatives.
5) Partnering & Change Management
- Act as a strategic partner to global/regional/local stakeholders to align OE supply chain initiatives with business priorities and customer expectations.
- Ensure clear, timely communication across all phases of work (analysis deployment sustainability).
What you will bring on the journey
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business or related field.
- Operational experience in supply chain 5+ years (planning / S&OP, customer service/SOM, logistics/warehouse, or end-to-end).
- Functional experience in transversal position in multinational organizations in deployment of supply chain processes and/or systems
- Strong knowledge of global/regional systems used in supply chain (examples listed internally include SAP PP, IBP, Supplier Hub, etc.).
- Proven record of supply chain improvements
- Fluency in English (global role)
Preferred
- Lean / Six Sigma experience and/or certification (Green/Black Belt).
- Experience in international manufacturing industries
- French and/or Spanish Language
