Pay Range: Actual pay may vary up or down depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for incentive compensation.

Job Summary

We are seeking an entrepreneurial, results-oriented Principal Product Manager. You will leverage your deep product management expertise to work backwards from customer scenarios and identify the right opportunities to help us accelerate at scale and innovate faster for our customers. Essential Duties and Responsibilities



  • Define and own the end-to-end product vision, strategy, and execution.
  • Lead a cross-functional team of engineers, designers, program managers, and other product owners.
  • Collect and use customer and market signals and research to identify product gaps, define product capabilities, and market justification.
  • Use your technical judgment and understanding to test assumptions.
  • Drive day-to-day product development from design to release with appropriate scheduling to deliver products on time with the right feature set and quality.
  • Create concise, clear, measurable product requirements and success criteria and communicate feature specs that enable multi-year product vision.
  • Use data to influence our business strategy and technical priorities and escalate when necessary while maintaining vibrant working relationships.
  • Independently represent your products and the product team, communicating with senior executives as well as with business and technical stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders such as Design, Engineering, AI Labs (R&D), Marketing, Sales, Business Development, Legal, and external partners.
  • Take ownership of a complex and ambitious program that includes AI, data science, third-party relationships, habit loops, security, and privacy.
  • Think big to build durable products that anticipate future pain points.
  • Serve as a senior mentor and leader to other Product Managers and help them grow professionally.
  • Help the company build lightweight processes and standards where appropriate, avoiding rework and reinvention where possible.
  • Adjust product roadmap to changes in privacy regulation and internal policy.
  • Evangelize your products and drive adoption.
  • Personal responsibility for gaining a working understanding of all regulatory and legal requirements related to your role/work product and ensuring that those requirements are met.

Supervisory Responsibility

This position manages employees and is responsible for the performance management and hiring of the employees.

Travel Requirements: Less than 25%

Education

Minimum 4 Year / Bachelors Degree

Preferred Graduate Degree MBA or similar Masters degree

Experience

10 Technical product or program management experience

8 End-to-end product delivery experience with some experience owning roadmap strategy and feature delivery. Some experience developing mobile / internet products required.

  • Knowledge of PowerBI, Snowflake, SQL, Jira
  • Familiarity with software architecture, interfaces, and engineering principles
  • Understanding of Apple and Android App Stores and best practices
  • Knowledge of Agile, Scrum, Pragmatic Marketing, and Lean Startup methodologies
  • Experience with hardware integration, wearables, sensors, wireless and wired connectivity
  • Early-stage startup experience
