As a Security Officer Armed Driver Patrol in Weslaco, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an armed patrol officer in a retail location, where you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a busy retail location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting observations and reporting relevant details.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the store, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and/or potential concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas to help support orderly operations, assist with access control, and/or address policy-related issues.
• Work with store leadership, employees, visitors, and/or first responders during incidents, medical events, and other security-related situations.

Minimum Requirements:

• An armed guard card or license is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A Level III Armed Certification is required in Texas only.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
