The selected candidate will train on 2nd Shift and may be required to move to 3rd Shift based on business needs Pay $25.91 - $28.69 / hour, depending on experience and qualifications Plus shift differential of $1.00 for any hours worked on 2nd Shift Schedule 2nd Shift (Sunday - Thursday, 2:00 p.m. - 10:30 p.m.) Onsite; other days and hours as needed Location 272 Patton Farm Road, Stuarts Draft, Virginia 24477 Job Summary McKee Foods is seeking a Maintenance Utility to join our Maintenance team. Assist maintenance personnel with installation work and projects Assist maintenance personnel with equipment change-overs and repairs Perform regulatory inspections and PM's General building maintenance and snow removal duties Active and continued enrollment in maintenance apprenticeship courses Other duties as assigned by Supervisor Required Qualifications Demonstrates workplace behavior consistent with company policies and values Exercises personal safety on the job and demonstrates a commitment to the safety of others and our products Successfully complete mechanical aptitude assessment High level of initiative and dedication Willing to be flexible working any shift and/or weekends based on business need Willing to complete educational courses as required Good communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work with minimal supervision No corrective actions from employment date or within the previous 12 consecutive months, whichever is longer Must maintain excellent attendance Preferred Qualifications Prior maintenance or maintenance trades experience Good working knowledge of maintenance trades Completed basic maintenance courses Ability to plan and coordinate work with multiple crafts Good computer skills Demonstrated success in meeting goals Previous electrical/electronic troubleshooting and computer controlled systems experience Ability to obtain and maintain a Lift Truck Operator license Benefits Competitive weekly pay Profit-sharing cash bonus program 401(k) with matching contributions Paid Time Off (for vacation, holidays, sick time, personal time, etc.) Medical insurance, including health, dental, vision and prescription drug plan Supplemental plans, including life insurance Fully-paid parental leave Health Center and Pharmacy Mental wellness counseling (on-site in TN, virtual elsewhere) Tuition reimbursement Credit Union Exercise and recreation facility Wellness programs with incentives Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Short-term and long-term disability (company-paid) We are an Equal Opportunity Employer
