RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Act as a subject matter expert, providing guidance and decision-making for appropriate valuation types & regulatory/policy requirements
  • Gain and maintain an expertise understanding of Federal Appraisal Guidelines obtaining interpretation from federal regulators when necessary
  • Utilize independent judgement to evaluate and potentially waive specific requirements, taking into consideration the risk profile of each case, demonstrating the authority to make informed decisions on a situational basis
  • Collaborate with the lending unit to provide clarification of Appraisal Regulations and PRK's Commercial Real Estate Valuation Policy
  • Manage workflow and assign Commercial appraisal job queue requests for all divisions
  • Use Navigator and Director to support workflows within Collateral 360.
  • Create, maintain and execute training sessions and one-on-one coaching for commercial lending units
  • Prepare SRF/RFP files for Commercial Review Appraisers to include proper files, information and data
  • Interpret NPL (Non-Performing Loan) tracking data to advise lending units on the appropriate timing for property valuations.
  • Track status and request bids and valuations from commercial appraisers, vendors, etc. as requested by division commercial lending group
  • Maintain awareness of and adherence to Bank's compliance requirements and risk management concepts, expectations, policies and procedures and apply them to daily tasks.
  • Deliver a consistent, high level of service within our Serving More standards.

EDUCATION - CERTIFICATIONS - WORK EXPERIENCE

High School diploma or equivalent required

Bachelors degree in Business, Finance or Accounting preferred

2-4 years experience as an appraiser, commercial lender, credit analyst, auditor or position within the accounting or banking field required

SCHEDULE

Typical office hours are M-F 8a-5p. This position is exempt and full-time. A minimum 40 hours is required per week.

This position is fully remote within our footprint.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

Travel within the Park footprint may be expected.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

This position must be able to remain in a stationary position a minimum of 75% of the time, constantly operate a computer, and be able to be in constant communication with coworkers and stakeholders to discuss and exchange accurate information.
