Mainframe Developer (Hybrid in Chicago)

Mainframe Developer Needed (Cobol on the Z).
Hybrid in Downtown Chicago 3X per week.
Long-term contract and 40 hours per week M-F.

Recent Technical skills Needed:

• Cobol programming.
• JCL.
• DB2.
• Stored procedures -> DB2 or comparable stored procedures development experience.
• Mainframe to Java integration awareness -> don't need hands on java experience; just need to understand how calls are made between the mainframe and Java layers.
• Must have previously worked on a regulatory-driven project or initiative.
• Candidates with strong securities lending or domain knowledge will be the front runner.
