Requisition ID# 171824 Job Category: Administrative / Clerical Job Level: Individual Contributor Business Unit: Gen Counsel, Ethics, Risk & Compliance Work Type: Hybrid Job Location: Oakland Department Overview The Enterprise Risk Analytics (ERA) team develops and applies quantitative methodologies and analytical tools to measure, compare, and communicate operational risks across the PG&E enterprise. The team's mission is to support quality decisionmaking by providing consistent, datadriven views of risk and risk reduction benefits across major risk areas, including wildfires, electric and gas systems, nuclear operations, dams, cybersecurity, coworker safety and other publicsafetyrelated risks. Position Summary The intern within Enterprise Risk Analytics team will develop and deliver technical work products that support risk-informed decision making at PG&E. This role supports broader risk analytics work to connect quantitative risk modeling to risk control measures designed to manage and mitigate risk, enabling clearer, more consistent riskinformed decisionmaking throughout the Enterprise. The successful candidate is analytical, organized, and curious, with a strong interest in data and decision support for risk management. They are comfortable working with structured datasets, applying existing analytical frameworks, and translating results into clear visualizations and documentation. The role requires attention to detail, a willingness to learn potentially complex subject matter, and the ability to collaborate across technical and nontechnical stakeholders. The intern will collaborate closely with data product owners, analysts, and risk professionals across the organization, contributing to analytical outputs while building foundational experience in applied risk analytics applied to critical infrastructure systems. PG&E isprovidingthe hourly rate range that the company in good faith believes it might pay for this position at the time of the job posting. This compensation range is specific to the locality of the job. The actual hourly rate paid to an individual will be based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, specific skills, education, licenses or certifications, experience, market value, geographic location, and internal equity.
