CLA is currently seeking a Client Support Coordinator in our Peoria, IL office. This pivotal role provides support to the client by conducting specific service activities and providing direct client support. They support the service team leaders (generally in Assurance, Tax, or Outsourcing) in managing the business functions and growth through marketing and administration support activities.

How you'll create opportunities in this Client Support Coordinator role:

* Internal Support: Proactively support team leader in managing one of the following services: Tax, Outsourcing, or Assurance.
* Tax: They are involved in one or more various responsibilities relating to the tax process, including preparing and mailing tax organizers, organizing and scanning client documents, assembling final tax returns and preparing extensions. They client deadlines and all reporting through the online filing systems to ensure no client deadlines are missed. Proactively manage database and workflow systems to ensure accurate maintenance of client data. Responsible for tracking and managing all tax eFile deadlines for the local office. They ensure all e-file forms are collected and processed timely and proactively engage office paraprofessionals to assist with peak filing deadlines.
Client Documents: Process client source documents, provide completed returns and instructions to client for completing workflow process. Ensure the collection of authorization forms (8879) from clients before tax returns are released. Respond to client needs and questions on behalf of tax team to assist in time and workflow management.
* Assurance: They roll forward binders in ProFx and complete roll-forward audit worksheet for common audit areas. Sends final adjustments and trial balances to the client. Ensures clients' internal financial statements tie to our final audit. Updates board presentations in PowerPoint for audits and proposals. Prepares client engagement letters, reports, and other letters upon request. Coordinates internal/external meetings and supports monthly industry reporting.
-Client Documents: Proofreads and coordinates the assembly of client financial statements, management letters, engagement letters and reports for staff. Coordinates delivery of final assurance documents via hard copy or electronic documents. Responds to client needs on behalf of the assurance team to assist in time and workflow management.
* Outsourcing: They are involved in one or more various tasks related to CAAS, Global Services, VR, or CLA Search. Manages engagement letters and assists with client deliverables, such as technology setup. Assists with drafting monthly bills for Principal review and coordinates CRM tracking for business development. Provides general internal and external support for Outsourcing teams and their clients for multiple office locations.
Client Documents: Drafts engagement letters, creates 1099s or other reporting forms as needed, drafts and delivers client invoices and other client deliverables.
* Internal Operations Team: Supports and provides back up to other internal operations team members during peak busy seasons, and as needed. May have accountabilities across other internal operations roles.

What you will need:

  • 2 years of relevant experience required

  • Professional services industry experience preferred

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

  • Associate or bachelor's degree preferred

  • Ability to quickly master new software applications

  • Proficiency in Microsoft (MS) Windows and Office Products

  • Experience with CCH ProSystemFx is preferred

  • Familiarity with CCH products, MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, CRM, Adobe, and other internal systems

Our approach to compensation emphasizes collaboration and career growth. We pay competitive wages and view compensation as an investment in our people. Factors such as geography, experience, education, skills, and knowledge may impact position of pay within the range.

The compensation range for this position in Illinois is: $41,800.00 - $71,000.00
