FOIA Analyst 4 Job Locations

Overview The Analyst will coordinate all government information access requests, ensuring full compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements. This position requires competent judgment in handling classified and sensitive records, strong knowledge and understanding of FOIA and Privacy Act exemptions and demonstrated ability to handle high volume and complex requests. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Process, track and respond to government information requests from "cradle to grave", including complex litigation, amendments and appeals, ensuring thorough review and compliance with legal and policy requirements.

Job is performed in an office setting with exposure to computer screens and requires extensive use of a computer, keyboard, mouse and multi-line telephone system. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: None. ADDITIONAL QUALIFYING FACTORS: Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance. In addition, a satisfactory background screening, negative drug test, positive references and proof of identity and legal authorization to work in the United States are required.
