Temporary Lab Assistant - Department of Biology

The Department of Biology in the Eberly College of Arts and Sciences at West Virginia University is currently accepting applications for a Temporary Lab Assistant.

About the Opportunity

This is a basic lab tasks position. Tasks include behavioral data collection and data entry and tissue collection and processing.

What You'll Do

Responsibilities include behavioral data collection and data entry and tissue dissection/processing.

Pay Grade: 10

Length of Assignment: Approximately 3 Months

• Associates degree.
• 0-6 months of experience with Excel basics and tissue processing.
• Any equivalent combination of related education and/or experience will be considered.
• All qualifications must be met by the time of employment.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Excel data entry, creation of basic summary graphs and tissue dissection/processing.
