Job Summary


We are looking for a Receptionist for our Fayetteville, AR, office. This role provides standard and routine clerical and administrative support, which may include word processing, data entry, ordering supplies, opening and sorting mail, copying, filing, faxing, answering phones, greeting visitors, providing information, and/or scheduling for multiple calendars.


Essential Functions


  • Greets incoming guests/vendors and answers phones during normal business hours.
  • Ensures cleanliness of all office areas (outside of janitorial services).
  • Coordination of office cleaning services and repairs.
  • Package pickup and delivery.
  • Sorts and distributes incoming mail and prepares outgoing mail and packages.
  • Orders, checks in, and distributes general office supplies (coffee, vending, break room, restroom, mailroom, etc.)
  • General typing, copying, printing, and binding.
  • Scans documents to electronic files.
  • Basic document creation.
  • Basic data entry in information systems and databases.
  • Maintains office vehicle mileage logs.
  • Coordinates meetings and lunch and learns (meals, venue, AV, etc.)
  • Assists with office-wide lunch orders and deliveries.
  • Assists with the planning, setting up, and taking down of office events (holiday party, summer picnic, retirements, morale, etc.).
  • Assists with travel arrangements.
  • Maintains calendars for conference rooms and office vehicles.
  • Codes, routes, tracks, and records office related invoices/expenses.
  • Assists with onboarding new hires (building access, first day photo, office tour, etc.).
  • Help to drive and champion Garver culture initiatives/Garver Ambassador.
  • Other duties as assigned.



Education Required


  • High School Diploma or equivalent.



Experience Required


  • 1 or more years of professional experience.



Licenses/Credentials


  • Valid Driver's License.



Preferred Qualifications


  • Basic IT experience.



Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Basic knowledge of:


  • Standard office equipment
  • Microsoft Office
  • Word processing and document creation


Basic skill in:


  • Organizational and prioritization skills
  • Communication and teamwork
  • Data entry/keyboarding
  • Customer service


Ability


  • Operate standard office equipment (printing, scanning, faxing, copying, etc.)
  • Problem-solve and assist team(s) as needed

Work environment
This is an in-office position; duties and responsibilities are generally performed in an office setting. Occasional travel to offsite locations to perform work and work-related tasks or to attend meetings may be required.
