Brooder (Day Shift)

Rate of Pay: $17.00 per hour

(Additional $1.00 per hours worked between 7:00pm and 11:59pm. Additional $2.00 per hour for hours worked between 12:00am-4:59am)

• To be able to place chicks, pre- feed and feed, remove mortality from chicken houses, level drinkers, level feeders and perform other tasks that are required on the ranch.
• Chick placement.
• Pick-up DOA's, level drinkers, level track / pan feeders, hook-up track feeder system, lubricate - winches, hoopers, feedmoters, gear-boxes, fan maintenance / fan relocation, and ranch appearance.
• Other duties as assigned per management.

• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
• Must have dependable transportation to work on various ranches and report to work timely as scheduled.
• Must be self-motivated and work independently or in group settings as needed.
• Must be able to perform groundwork when needed.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule which may include weekends and holidays.
• Must have good verbal and written communication skills (Basic English).
• Must be able to receive and follow direction from the crew lead person, supervisor and also ranch management personnel.
• Must be able to work safe and follow company standards, guidelines and policies.
• Must have the ability and desire to promote to higher level ranch positions.
