Overview

The Director of Process Improvements & Data Analytics & Management is a strategic and operational leader in the facilities department responsible for optimizing business processes, elevating enterprise data capabilities, and driving a culture of continuous improvement. This role blends analytical rigor with organizational change leadership within the facilities department, ensuring that processes, systems, and data practices support efficiency, scalability, and informed decision-making. The director partners with executives and cross-functional teams to identify opportunities, implement solutions, and build sustainable frameworks for operational excellence.

Responsibilities

    Process Improvement Leadership
    • Lead enterprise-wide process optimization initiatives within the facilities department to improve efficiency, quality, and scalability.
    • Develop and maintain a continuous improvement roadmap aligned with organizational goals.
    • Facilitate process mapping, root-cause analysis, and workflow redesign using Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies.
    • Establish KPIs, performance dashboards, and operational scorecards to measure and monitor effectiveness.
    • Partner with business units to identify bottlenecks, streamline workflows, and implement best practices.
    • Drive change management efforts to ensure adoption and long-term sustainability of improvements.
  • Data Analytics & Management
    • Oversee the facilities department data strategy, ensuring data is accurate, accessible, and actionable.
    • Implement and maintain data governance frameworks, including data quality standards, stewardship models, and compliance protocols.
    • Lead the development of advanced analytics capabilities, including predictive modeling, automation, and self-service BI.
    • Collaborate with IT, analytics teams, and business leaders to enhance data architecture, reporting tools, and system integrations.
    • Promote data-driven decision-making through training, communication, and user-friendly analytics tools.
    • Ensure data security, privacy, and regulatory compliance in partnership with legal and technology teams.
  • Leadership & Collaboration
    • Build strong cross-functional relationships to align improvement and analytics initiatives with business needs.
    • This role is focused on strategy, architecture, and frameworks rather than day-to-day operational reporting or ticket-based analytics support.
    • All key initiatives and functions are delivered in close partnership with IT, Leadership, and Facilities teams, ensuring alignment with broader technology standards, avoiding duplication, and leveraging existing expertise and resources.
    • Communicate insights, progress, and recommendations to executive leadership through presentations and strategic reports.
    • Champion a culture of operational excellence, innovation, and continuous learning.
