Description Position Title: Engine Technician Reporting to: Production Manager Department: Service Central Power Systems & Services is a privately held company with deep roots going back to 1954. We are looking for an Engine Technician to help support that mission. JOB DUTIES Engine removal, disassembly/teardown Evaluation of components Repair/maintenance as needed of components Sending key parts for machining (not done at our facility) Engine reassembly Keep detailed records of all work performed Daily communication with parts department Daily communication with shop foreman and service writers with daily schedule to complete Performs other related duties as assigned/needed GREAT BENEFITS Competitive Pay Medical, Dental, Vision & Life Insurance 401k with company match Paid Time Off Training & Professional Development Positive and productive work environment Boot Allowance & Tool Insurance Qualifications QUALIFICATIONS Minimum of two years engine building experience Experience with heavydiesel engines and generators High School Diploma/GED is required. Must be computer literate -- familiarity and experience with computers, software, and tablet systems. A good working knowledge of equipment operations and mechanical functions Solid shop floor management knowledge Valid Driver's License WORK CONDITIONS Physical Demands/Work Environment: This position regularly requires walking, standing, sitting, stooping, bending, kneeling and climbing stairs. It also often requires pushing, pulling, twisting, lifting 50+ lbs. and working in a variety of weather conditions and noise levels.
