Material Handler - 1st shift

Responsibilities

Duties & Responsibilities:
* Picking loose pick, full case, and full pallet picks using RF and bar code labels.
* Put away "Rush" receipts of material
* Picking and put away of all replenishment labels
* Must be able to work with forklift equipment including the passing of standard written and driving tests.
* Perform cycle counting requirements with RF during picking
* Visual inspection of incoming finished goods from various suppliers at the DC including count verification
* Inventory troubleshooting including location inventory correction.
* License plate error correction from all suppliers.
* Must have knowledge of computer equipment including basic data entry and bar code printers
* Creation and application of customer compliant labeling
* Must be able to lift cartons in excess of 40 pounds.
* Pallet verification of all cartons to outbound pallet locations using RF and bar code labels. Includes final wrapping and appropriate pallet marks.
* Put away of all products using RF and bar code labels.
* Ability to flex to different jobs on a regular basis
* Follows all safety & 5S practices
* May include other tasks as assigned by supervisor

* Be able to handle multiple projects
* Knowledge of Lean Principles
* Self-motivated
* Excellent organization and communication skills
