As a Security Officer Entry Screening in Covington, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic commercial real estate location, where you will monitor entry points, manage access control, and support tenants and visitors with professional communication and customer service. You will conduct routine patrols, stay visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and bring an agile, reliable, and innovative approach to every shift while working with a caring team that puts people first and acts with integrity.

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and staff by following access control procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, and help to deter unauthorized access to the property.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting security-related concerns and notifying appropriate contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of lobbies, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to identify unusual activity and report maintenance and/or security-related issues.
• Support daily building operations by assisting with visitor management, directing foot traffic, and maintaining accurate access records and incident reports.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
