Application Programmer

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Senior .NET Developer for a contract position with a Global Financial Institution located in Charlotte, NC. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity.

This role involves building a new application from the ground up, with a focus on creating a rule engine that allows users to implement their own business rules. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem-solver with extensive experience in the Microsoft technology stack.

Responsibilities:

• Work on building a brand new application from the ground up
• Create a rule engine that allows users to input their own business rules
• Engage in full-stack development using ASP.NET MVC, C#, and related web technologies
• Develop and optimize SQL Server stored procedures and queries

Requirements:

• 8+ years of professional software development experience
• 5+ years of hands on experience with ASP.NET MVC 5
• Strong experience with Kendo UI controls and frameworks
• Proficiency in C#, .NET Framework, and Entity Framework
• Strong understanding of MVC architecture, OOP, and SOLID principles
• Experience with SQL Server, including stored procedures and query optimization
• Hands on experience with JavaScript, jQuery, JSON, AJAX
• Familiarity with RESTful services and Web APIs
• Experience with Git or other version control systems
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills

Desired skills:

• Angular experience
• Oracle Exadata experience
• Python experience
