Summary:

Primary role of this position is to setup, operate and take down equipment and machinery that is designated to the Finishing department.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:



  • Reads job ticket to determine job specifications and requirements assigned to job.
  • Performs setup on the equipment or machine being operated to ensure proper job preparation.
  • After routine setup is completed adjustments are made as necessary to regulate tension, synchronization, calibrations and measurements align.
  • Starts machine and does test runs, feeding substrate through machine to compare against job ticket specifications.
  • Readjusts machine to reach desired production.
  • Starts counting device, conveyor belt, automatic take off table or any other auxiliary piece that coincides with operating equipment.
  • Observes operation of machine to detect malfunctions such as jamming, wrinkling, or tearing of material.
  • Stops machine to make required adjustments.
  • Quality checks job at specified intervals.
  • Moves final product to designated area and takes down equipment or machine as directed by the Finishing Manager.

Education and Experience:




  • Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or
  • 6 months to one year related experience and or training.

  • While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand and reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.



Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $23 - $25 USD hourly. Ultimately, in determining pay, we will consider the successful candidate's location, experience, and other job-related factors.
