The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills and professional experience.

Job Overview:

The X-ray Technologist performs diagnostic radiographic procedures to assist physicians and APPs in the diagnosis and treatment of orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions. The X-ray Technologist ensures quality imaging, radiation safety, and efficient workflow in the clinic.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Graduate from an AMA approved School of Radiologic Technology program

Preferred:

  • Orthopedic or outpatient ambulatory experience strongly
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Radiologic Technologist
  • Associates degree or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or equivalent
  • New graduates from accredited programs will be considered with demonstrated clinical competence

Certifications and Licenses Required:

  • Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT)
  • NJ License/DEP

Scheduling Requirements:

  • Per Diem
  • Weekday availability

Essential Functions:

  • Operate digital X-ray equipment and associated PACS and EHR systems
  • Adhere to all radiation safety guidelines, ALARA principles, and regulatory standards
  • Maintain appropriate inventory of imaging supplies and report equipment malfunctions promptly
  • Position patient correctly to obtain optimal images which maintain the patient's comfort and safety
  • Support daily clinic flow, assist with patient transport, and contribute to team-based care activities as needed
  • Perform routine and specialized radiographic exams according to physician orders and established protocols
  • Verify patient identity and imaging orders prior to the exam, document procedures accurately in medical record
  • Other duties as assigned
