Georgia-Pacific's Consumer Products business is seeking a Supply Chain Master Data Steward to join our Supply Chain Master Data team. In this role, you will serve as a subject matter expert for Supply Planning Master Data, ensuring critical supply chain data is accurate, reliable, and available to support planning and operational decision-making.

You will partner closely with Supply Planning, Production Planning, Accounting Data Stewards, Brand and Category teams, and the Master Data Governance team to ensure supply chain data is effectively orchestrated across systems and processes. High-quality master data serves as foundational data required to enable reliable planning, improve operational visibility, and advance our digital supply chain roadmap, including future capabilities such as advanced analytics and AI-driven decision support.

The ideal candidate will proactively monitor data health, detect discrepancies early, and continuously improve data management processes to ensure master data supports both current operations and future digital capabilities.

What You Will Do

  • Create and maintain supply chain master data in SAP/MDG, including materials, bills of material, production rates, and supply planning parameters.
  • Partner with Supply Planning, Production Planning, and cross-functional teams to ensure supply chain data is properly structured and orchestrated across planning and operational systems.
  • Monitor data quality, investigate discrepancies, and resolve master data issues that could impact planning or production.
  • Support data governance standards through audits, validation checks, and documentation of master data processes.
  • Identify opportunities to improve master data management through automation, monitoring, and enhanced data orchestration practices.
  • Serve as a trusted subject matter expert for supply planning master data.
  • Act as a gatekeeper for data integrity, identifying and resolving issues before they impact supply chain planning.
  • Improve data reliability through process improvements, automation, and stronger governance practices.
  • Help enable Georgia-Pacific's digital supply chain capabilities by ensuring foundational data supports advanced planning, analytics, and AI initiatives.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • One of the following:
    • Two (2) or more years of experience in master data management, or
    • Two (2) or more years of experience in supply chain functions such as supply planning, production planning, logistics, or supply chain operations.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.

What Will Put You Ahead

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Data Analytics, or a related field.
  • Experience working with SAP (ECC, S/4HANA, or MDG).
  • Experience working with supply chain master data such as bills of material, routings, or planning parameters.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (data analysis, pivot tables, formulas).
  • Experience supporting data governance or data quality initiatives.
  • Experience supporting supply planning systems such as SAP IBP, APO, or similar tools.
