McLean Hospital is seeking to fill a part-time (20 hours/week) Registered Nurse position in our new Metabolic Psychiatry Center outpatient clinic. This clinic is dedicated to the assessment and treatment of psychiatric disorders with a particular focus on integrating metabolic psychiatry approaches into routine clinical care. The outpatient services will play a key role in supporting and complementing real-world evidence on how metabolic interventions influence patient outcomes.
As part of a comprehensive outpatient program, the Registered Nurse will conduct clinical intake assessments, provide ongoing patient monitoring, support care coordination, and deliver patient and family education related to treatment plans and metabolic psychiatry interventions. The nurse will collaborate closely within a multidisciplinary team, using a flexible and patient-centered approach to support individuals seeking care in the clinic. In addition to routine clinical responsibilities, the nurse will assist with activities related to clinical trials, including patient education about study procedures, coordination of study visits, and accurate documentation of research-related data.
Candidates must be licensed in the state of Massachusetts. Clinical experience working with children and/or adults and familiarity with treating patients with a range of mental health disorders is preferred.

Registered Nurse [RN - State License] - Generic - HR Only required

Experience
Clinical nursing experience 2-3 years required and Hospital or managed care experience 2-3 years preferred

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic healthcare environment.
