Job Description

The University of Missouri Department of Neurosurgery is seeking to hire two full-time neurosurgeons to join our practice that consists of 8 full-time faculty members. Appointment rank will be commensurate with academic accomplishments and experience.

This position will participate in general and pediatric neurosurgery on-call coverage; contribute to resident selection and evaluation; participate in resident and medical education through supervision in the clinical setting and operating room, as well as through academic curriculum development; and involvement in clinically relevant research and scholarship.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications: Board-certified/Board-eligible in Neurosurgery
License to practice medicine in the Missouri prior to start date

Candidates will be evaluated on: experience in Neurovascular and/or Spine Surgery. Desire to engage in the academic mission of the Department of Neurosurgery through excellence in clinical care, education, and innovation.
