As a Security Officer Gated Community in Trabuco Canyon, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. Join Allied Universal at a residential location where you will help manage access control, monitor activity, and support a welcoming environment for residents and guests. In this role, you will remain visible, perform routine patrols, and provide outstanding customer service and communication while helping to deter security-related incidents. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to residents, guests, vendors, and/or visitors by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, community policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor entry and exit points for the residential location, verify identification and/or authorization, and document visitor, contractor, and delivery activity according to post instructions.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report security-related concerns to property management and/or local emergency personnel as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the residential community, common areas, and perimeter, noting unusual activity and helping to deter unauthorized access and/or policy violations.
• Support Allied Universal standards by maintaining accurate logs, communicating clearly with residents and staff, and following established security-related procedures for daily operations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma and/or GED as required by the client.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
