Summary
Responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the cafeteria, ensuring that all food production and service activities are carried out efficiently and in compliance with health and safety regulations. This role coordinates with kitchen staff, ensures the quality and consistency of meals, and maintains a clean and organized cafeteria environment. Does this position require Patient Care? No Essential Functions -Coordinate and oversee all cafeteria activities, including food preparation, cooking, and service, to ensure smooth operations. -Monitor food production and presentation to maintain high-quality standards. -Train, guide, and supervise cafeteria staff, including cooks, food service workers, and cashiers. -Assign duties and responsibilities to cafeteria personnel and ensure they understand and follow standard operating procedures. -Monitor inventory levels of food and kitchen supplies and place orders as needed. -Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including proper food handling, storage, and preparation techniques.
