The Hyatt Regency Coralville Hotel & Conference Center is seeking a motivated, service-driven Front Office Supervisor to lead our team during second shift. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys leading by example, supporting a team, and ensuring exceptional guest experiences during one of the busiest times of the day.

As a Front Office Supervisor, you will oversee front desk operations, support associates, and ensure every guest interaction reflects our commitment to People Pleasing People.

Schedule & Pay

  • Full-time position
  • 2nd Shift: 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM
  • Weekend availability required
  • Pay range: $18 - $20/hour, commensurate with experience

What You'll Do

As a Front Office Supervisor, you will lead front desk operations during your shift and ensure a seamless guest experience.

Responsibilities include:

  • Supervise and support front desk associates and bell staff as needed
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for guest concerns and escalations
  • Ensure efficient and accurate check-in and check-out processes
  • Monitor room inventory, availability, and upgrades
  • Assist with VIP arrivals, group check-ins, and special requests
  • Handle guest concerns with professionalism and resolve issues promptly
  • Maintain accurate cash handling and house bank procedures
  • Ensure completion of daily checklists and shift responsibilities
  • Communicate effectively with housekeeping and other departments
  • Complete shift reports and pass-along notes
  • Support training, coaching, and development of front desk associates
  • Maintain front desk organization and cleanliness
  • Step in to assist the team during busy periods

  • Previous front desk or guest service experience required
  • Prior supervisory or leadership experience preferred
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to lead, coach, and support a team
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to multi-task and remain calm under pressure
  • Basic computer skills and ability to learn hotel systems
  • Ability to stand and move throughout the shift
