ABOUT THE POSITION

Position Title: Senior Branch Member Account Specialist - Offering $750 Sign-On Bonus

Position Overview: As a Senior Branch Member Account Specialist (Sr BMAS), you'll play a key role in delivering an exceptional member experience by building meaningful relationships and providing personalized financial support. In this role, you are more than a transactional resource-you are a trusted partner helping members navigate important financial decisions, from opening accounts to accessing lending solutions and improving their overall financial wellness.

We provide comprehensive training to ensure your success, including operational processes and member service excellence. Whether your background is in retail, hospitality, or financial services, this role offers the opportunity to grow a long-term career in banking while making a tangible impact on the lives of members in the Elmira community.

Position Type: Full-Time. Typical shifts include Monday through Friday 8:30AM to 5:30PM, with rotating Saturday shifts 8:30AM to 12:30PM.

Compensation Range: $21.00/hr. - $25.50/hr. *Hiring rates may be dependent on a number of factors, including years of directly related work experience, education, geographic location or special skills*

Location: On-site at our Elmira Branch located at 303 N Main Street, Elmira, NY.

What you'll do in this role:



  • Open and manage consumer, business, and IRA accounts
  • Support consumer loan applications (excluding mortgages)
  • Resolve complex member concerns and escalations
  • Identify opportunities to recommend relevant products and services
  • Support branch operations including teller/MSR coverage
  • Provide notary services (training provided)

              WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

              Minimum qualifications:



              • High school diploma with 1-3 years of related experience.
              • Obtain notary license within 1 year of acceptance of role.
              • Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite programs.
              • Proficient with standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines, PCs, etc.

              Preferred qualifications:



              • Associate degree preferred.
              • Two to four years' experience in customer service, retail, banking or financial services industry.
