Job Summary

Distributes periodic financial statements for external stakeholders, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.Ensures all reports and disclosures comply with government regulations, professional standards, andorganizational policies. Develops consolidation journal entries, eliminates intercompany transactions, andconsolidates divisional and subsidiary accounts for inclusion in both internal and external financialstatements.

Key Responsibilities

* Directs the daily activities of a finance team, ensuring goals are met within the scope of departmental plans.Provides guidance, mentorship, and performance feedback to staff while fostering a collaborative workenvironment.
* Ensures the efficient management of financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and reportingprocesses. Works closely with the director to develop and adapt strategies that meet organizational objectives.
* Develops and implements processes to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting. Overseesthe preparation and analysis of financial statements, ensuring compliance with established policies andprocedures.
* Conducts financial analysis to assess the company's financial health, identifying key performanceindicators (KPIs) and providing recommendations for improvements. Collaborates with senior leadership toalign financial performance with business goals.
* Ensures adherence to regulatory requirements and internal controls, proactively managing risks to maintainfinancial integrity and compliance. Reviews financial practices to ensure that high-quality standards areconsistently met.
* Collaborates with senior leadership to contribute to the development of short-term and long-term financialstrategies. Supports decision-making by providing financial insights and recommending improvements tobusiness models.
* Establishes and maintains strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including auditors,department heads, and business partners. Communicates financial performance and goals to ensure alignmentwith organizational strategy.
* Provides coaching to junior staff and develops their financial expertise. Fosters a culture of continuouslearning and improvement, ensuring that team members have the tools and support needed to succeed.
* Leads the execution of day-to-day financial tasks while supporting higher-level strategic initiatives.Supports management in defining project terms and aligning financial objectives with overall company goals.
* Performs other duties as assigned

* Manages staff performance and development, coaching team members to achieve their full potential incontributing to the department's goals

Required Education & Experience

Minimum Education Level: Bachelor's Degree
Years of Experience: 5-7 Years

Preferred Education & Experience

Specialized Degree: MBA or MPACC
Licenses/Certificates: CGMA, CPA, CMA, or CFA
Years of Experience: 8-11 Years
