Employment: Temp (12 months)
Industry: Aerospace and Defense
Compensation: $22.85 - $31.73/hr.
Schedule: 4/10 - 1 st shift.
About the Opportunity:
  • Manufacturing cables, prototypes, and production assemblies, including initial builds in coordination with Engineering.
  • Repair and maintain field and laboratory assets.
  • Modify and repair test equipment and prototypes according to drawings, specifications, or engineering instructions.
  • Ensure all assigned duties are performed safely and in compliance with organizational standards.
  • Proactively report issues that could impact operations or business performance.

What You'll Do:
  • Perform a wide range of electronic, mechanical, and electromechanical tasks, from repetitive to non-repetitive manufacturing activities.
  • Operate related equipment efficiently and safely.
  • Conduct tests and accurately record/report data in the prescribed format.
  • Perform calibration checks and carry out adjustments, modifications, and component replacements as directed.
  • Prepare necessary compounds and solutions in accordance with specifications.
Job Requirements
What You'll Bring:
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 2+ years of experience with engineering first drafts in an assembly setting.
  • 2+ years of experience with electronic assembly and electrical testing
  • 2+ years of experience with Cable Harness.
  • 2+ years of experience with ESD.
  • 2+ years of experience with IPC-A-610, IPC-J-STD, and IPC-WHMA-A-620.
What Sets You Apart:
  • Candidates should be able to work from schematics, engineering drawings and models, and written or verbal instructions.
  • Needs mechanical and electrical aptitude and the ability to determine when something needs to be rectified on an engineering drawing.
  • Team Player.
  • Ability to Read Engineering Drawings.
