Job Description
Starting pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills and experience between $28.00/hr and $32.00/hr. Summary As a journeyman position this job has high level mechanical skills related to molding machines, auxiliary systems, and a manufacturing plant's general infrastructure needs. Minimum Qualifications * High School Diploma or GED * Ability to lift 35 pounds or more repeatedly. * Prior experience with injection and blow mold machines in a maintenance capacity. * Basic math skills with an understanding of the decimal system. * Ability to work overtime and be on call to handle emergency situations. * Understanding of pneumatic, mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic functions Job Responsibilities * Commitment to safety is a #1 priority. * To diagnose problems and make the important repairs to get the machine back online as quickly as possible. * To communicate with affected team members on the production floor, in setup, and other maintenance personnel. * Must perform scheduled preventative maintenance to reduce down time. * Must provide your own tools. * Must use the appropriate tool in the safest way possible for the appropriate task. * Support the Maintenance Manager in meeting the team/plant goals, searching for cost savings opportunities, and managing down time.
