Strategic Project Lead - Enterprise Architecture Enablement

Federal Express Corporation
United States, Pennsylvania, Coraopolis
Apr 14, 2026

Role Overview:

The Strategic Project Lead designs, develops, and implements large multifaceted projects in support of the strategic goals of the enterprise. They set strategies and tactics which lead to the transformation of global business processes and operational tools.

About the Role and Organization:

This role operates at the intersection of business strategy and enterprise architecture, focusing on driving alignment and execution for conceptual, future-state design initiatives rather than traditional delivery-based project management.

They collaborate with Enterprise Business, Enterprise Information System, and Enterprise Technical Architects, along with other subject matter experts (as needed) to lead the project team towards architectural deliverables, specifically using the established framework designed to achieve EA organization goals.

The SPL owns the project plan and success of assigned strategic design and PFS initiative(s). They manage the progression of the strategic design from start to finish.

Preferred Future State (PFS) refers to a forward-looking blueprint that defines how business processes, systems, and technologies should evolve to meet enterprise strategy.
