Department:ICE \| BHSL Child PRI 5S IP C Department's Website: Summary of Job Duties:Clinical Care Assistants (CCA's) are hired for a specific unit and are expected to foster professionalism and fulfill work commitments on unit of assignment. CCA's work under the direct supervision of the Registered Nurse (s). The CCA works within the Nursing Service Line standards and adheres to UAMS Health, policies, procedures and standards and guest care guidelines. Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications: Must have completed one (1) semester in the nursing program including basic Theory and Skills check-off in a state-approved Registered Nursing School and one (1) clinical rotation. Must be able to attend daily (8A-4:30P) mandatory orientation of the first week of employment to apply. Preferred Qualifications: Preference will be given to in-state; BSN nursing schools, and/or students who participate in clinical rotations and/or work at UAMS. Additional Information: Additional Information: Work hours require 8 hours a week; 16 hours every other weekend on Saturday and/or Sunday; or 32 hours a month as negotiated with the Clinical Services Manager (CSM); maximum of 1000 hours (increased to 1400 during a pandemic) in a 12-month floating period; the applicant will identify areas of interest and interview will be determined based on availability and unit request; online references must be completed before the interview.
