International Equity Analyst

Driehaus Capital Management LLC in Chicago, IL seeks an International Equity Analyst.

Job Duties:      Conduct fundamental research and analysis on international equities in assigned sectors (consumer and financials) to generate investment recommendations. Analyze financial statements, earnings reports, published research, and internal data to support investment recommendations. Develop financial models and valuation analyses to support investment recommendations. Prepare written investment reports for review by Portfolio Managers, including rationale based on financial and market analysis. Monitor portfolio holdings to ensure alignment with investment objectives and recommend adjustments as needed. Participate in regular portfolio review meetings and communicate investment views and updates on covered securities to Portfolio Managers. Attend in-person and virtual meetings with company executives; interact with sell-side analysts, brokers, and traders to gather relevant market insights. Develop and maintain model portfolios to support idea generation for client portfolios. Perform special projects and other investment-related tasks as assigned. Remote work allowed, 3 days in office and 2 days remote.

Salary Range:              $140,026 to $150,000 per year

Requirements:  Requires Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Economics, Finance, or related, and 5 years of experience in job offered or related investment analysis role. Must have experience with financial modeling and valuation techniques using Excel. Proficiency with financial research platforms, including Bloomberg and FactSet. Must have experience analyzing financial statements, accounting data, and earnings reports. Must be able to prepare written investment reports and communicate investment recommendations. Experience analyzing non-U.S. equity markets required. Experience covering consumer and/or financials sectors required.

Travel: Domestic & intl travel up to 4 times /year to attend conferences & conduct company research.

In accordance with the Illinois Pay Transparency Law, the target base salary range for the role is above.  Actual annual base salaries may vary based on factors including but not limited to internal equity, market data/ranges, as well as the individual applicant’s education, training, prior relevant experience, and other job-related qualifications. If hired, base pay will be determined on an individualized basis and is only one part of the total compensation package.
