Description Senior Digital Hardware Designer Location: Scottsdale, AZ \| Type: Contract \| Compensation: $94.33/ Hour Immediate opening for a Senior Digital Design Engineer. This position provides an opportunity to further advance the cutting-edge technology that supports some of our nation's core defense/intelligence services and systems. Senior Digital Design Engineers research, design, develop and test electronic equipment and systems at GDMS including: radar detection/communications equipment and systems, circuitry components, computers, and Digital Signal Processing equipment. The Senior Digital Design Engineer will: Exercise creative thinking and ideation to advance our business performance. Deliver innovative, flexible, integrated solutions to meet customers changing business needs. Support and engage in programs, projects and practices behind the GDMS culture and strategy, and comply with all policies and procedures. Follow industry and department trends and developments to ensure GDMS services are consistent with, and/or superior to, industry best practices. APPLY TODAY What You'll Do: Design, develop, and test advanced digital hardware systems and electronic equipment Create multi-layer PCB designs with controlled impedance and advanced fabrication techniques Perform signal integrity analysis, including crosstalk and performance testing Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated, high-performance solutions Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers Job Requirements What You'll Bring: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related Science, Engineering, Technology, or Mathematics field 8+ years of experience in digital hardware design or 6+ years with a Master's degree 3+ years of experience with schematic capture and multi-layer PCB design 3+ years of experience working with microprocessors, microcontrollers, FPGAs, or SoCs What Sets You Apart: Experience with Mentor design tools Background in high-reliability or space-based systems Experience with worst-case and stress analysis Additional Information: Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check and a drug screen In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required employment eligibility verification form upon hire.
