Responsible for leading and overseeing other nursing supervisors, ensuring high-quality patient care and efficient team performance. Collaborates with hospital administration and other departments to ensure seamless operations and continuous improvement in patient care
Does this position require Patient Care? Essential Functions-Supervises nursing leaders and staff, ensuring proper staffing levels and assigning duties to meet patient care needs.
-Monitors and evaluates nursing practices, ensuring compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
-Provides leadership during clinical emergencies, making critical decisions to ensure patient safety and quality care.
-Collaborates with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and optimize outcomes.
-Conducts performance evaluations, provides feedback, and facilitates professional development opportunities for nursing staff.
-Leads quality improvement initiatives within the nursing department to enhance patient care and operational efficiency.
-Ensures accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities in electronic health records (EHR) systems.
-Addresses and resolves any patient or staff concerns, promoting a positive work environment.
-Participates in hospital leadership meetings, contributing to strategic planning and decision-making.

Education
Associate's Degree Nursing required and Bachelor's Degree Nursing preferred or Master's Degree Nursing preferred or Master's Degree Healthcare Administration preferred

Licenses and Credentials
Registered Nurse [RN - State License] - Generic - HR Only required Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support [ACLS (AHA)] - American Heart Association (AHA) preferred Basic Life Support [BLS Certification] - Data Conversion - Various Issuers preferred

Experience
Nursing experience 3-5 years required and Experience in a leadership or supervisory role 3-5 years required

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities in high-pressure situations.
- Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems and nursing documentation.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across departments and disciplines.
- Thorough understanding of nursing practices, hospital protocols, and regulatory standards.
