Overview

The Services Sales Consultant 4 will play a critical role in supporting the sales team by articulating the value of the company's services to prospective and existing customers. This role works closely with sales services delivery legal and product teams to develop and contract tailored professional services offerings that address customer needs drive business outcomes and deliver bookings growth.



Responsibilities

    Collaborate with marketing sales customer success and services delivery teams to proactively identify and qualify new services opportunities.

  • Partner with sales and services teams to assess potential customers and prioritize high-value opportunities.

  • Proactively follow up on leads generated from marketing campaigns to drive pipeline growth.

  • Participate in marketing events (webinars conferences user forums) functioning as a subject matter expert and trusted services resource for customers and prospects.

  • Lead discovery sessions to understand business challenges technology landscapes and services requirements.

  • Develop and present customized services proposals that align with customer needs and business outcomes and accurately reflect project approach and level of effort.

  • Represent the services approach in sales meetings and support the sales team in responding to requests for proposal (RFPs) answering questions related to services delivery.

  • Negotiate business terms of contracts collaborate with legal and manage the contract signature process.

  • Research and analyze new solutions and business approaches to services-related challenges and raise concerns to relevant stakeholders to mitigate risk.

  • Maintain current knowledge base on company products and services industry trends and best practices competitor offerings. Complete relevant training in new products and offerings.

  • Operate as a trusted advisor to potential customers; develop and maintain strategic working relationships.

  • Operate as an innovative thought leader; contribute significantly to the overall growth and quality of the department through knowledge sharing and coaching on current best practices and market trends.

  • Mentor coach train and provide feedback to other team members; provide feedback to leadership on abilities of team.



Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

  • 5+ years of experience in pre-sales sales engineering solution consulting or professional services within a technology or consulting company.

  • Experience working with Hyland products and their application to solve customer business challenges.

  • Knowledge or experience in one of the industries that utilizes Hyland products.

  • Experience in sales prospecting lead qualification or opportunity development.

  • Track record of consistently achieving or exceeding sales and other performance objectives.

  • Microsoft Windows and Office proficient

  • Excellent oral and written communications skills that demonstrate a professional demeanor and the ability to interact with executive presence

  • Excellent organizational multi-tasking and time management skills

  • Excellent interpersonal skills; able to maintain solid rapport with team members and effectively work across functional areas to achieve results

  • Excellent critical thinking and problem solving skills

  • Self-motivated with the ability to manage projects to completion independently

  • Able to thrive in a fast paced deadline driven environment

  • Excellent knowledge of Hyland products

  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Operating systems and products

  • Up to 25% travel time required
