Security Officer - First Shift - Downtown

As a Security Officer in Milwaukee, WI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a dynamic automotive location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $18.50 / Hour

Candidates MUST have a valid driver's license with at least one year of driving history

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to all visitors, employees, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an automotive production and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, production-adjacent areas, parking areas, entry points, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry of personnel, visitors, and/or deliveries in accordance with site protocols, reporting concerns or irregular activity to the appropriate contacts.
• Support site operations by observing for maintenance issues, policy violations, and/or potential hazards, then reporting findings through appropriate channels and completing required activity logs and incident reports.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions.
