The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, and training. The above hiring range represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.

Position Summary

To develop and implement scalable data and AI infrastructure that supports AI-empowered public health research and advances the translational mission of the TRAIL4Health initiative. In addition, to provide operational and programmatic coordination that ensures the effective day-to-day functioning of TRAIL4Health.

Responsibilities



  • Coordinate and manage day-to-day operations of the TRAIL4Health initiative, including website
    maintaince, communications, and assisting the organization of seminars, workshops, training
    sessions, and research events, including speaker coordination, materials preparation, and on-site
    support. 30 %
  • Support scalable data and AI infrastructure building for public health and biomedical research
    initiatives within TRAIL4Health. 35%
  • Collaborate with faculty investigators and research teams to translate scientific questions into
    reproducible analytic pipelines and computational workflows. 30 %
  • Performs related duties & responsibilities as assigned/requested 5 %


Minimum Qualifications



  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in education and experience, plus three years of related experience.


Preferred Qualifications

* Master's degree in Data Science, Biostatistics, Statistics, Computer Science, Public Health, or a related quantitative field.
* Experience developing or supporting data and AI infrastructure in academic, healthcare, or research environments.
* Familiarity with cloud-based computing environments (e.g., AWS) and secure data management practices.
* Experience supporting grant-funded research projects and contributing to manuscripts or technical reports.
* Experience coordinating academic programs, research initiatives, seminars, or training events.
* Demonstrated ability to work in interdisciplinary research environments.
