Job Description

Be a part of a multi-disciplinary team, filled with collaborative, resourceful, and determined professionals who play a vital role in our business activities. The position is responsible for investigating alleged company Code of Conduct violations, fraud/waste/abuse, conflicts of interest, supplier diversion, and other Code of Conduct or general business practice violations. Corporate Investigators provide day-to-day contributions to open investigations by working with multiple internal and external stakeholders to investigate and determine potential fraud, code of conduct or business practices violations.


The key responsibilities for the role include:



  • Develop or determine the investigative steps to be completed, which vary by case


  • Use investigative techniques to determine, identify, gather and review detailed evidence to come to the correct investigative conclusion based on facts


  • Execute investigations in a thorough manner, addressing and concluding on the alleged policy violation(s) in a case


  • Prepare reports and present conclusions with evidence to key stakeholders


  • Manage and prioritize a large and varied case load effectively and efficiently


  • Work independently with stakeholders to gather data, conduct interviews, search corporate documents and prepare reports


  • Provide input to business units for process improvements to minimize potential risk / loss

Requirements

Basic Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree


  • Minimum 3 years of related work experience



Preferred Qualifications:



  • Law enforcement experience


  • Knowledge and experience in investigations, compliance, and analytical research related to violations of internal policies and/or criminal violations to include drugs, weapons, and workplace violence investigations


  • Formal training or demonstrated experience in investigative interviewing techniques


  • Ability to conduct witness, subject, and management interviews in sensitive or high risk matters


  • Experience partnering with HR and Legal on employee related investigations


  • Understanding of retaliation risks, confidentiality obligations, and fair treatment principles


  • Experience reconciling conflicting testimony using documentary and data evidence


  • Experience in evidence handling and chain-of-custody procedures
