Job Description

Powertrain planning is a major factor shaping Stellantis' future portfolio and is a critical component of the regional performance plan. The Powertrain Planner will understand the market and brand needs and develop showroom plans to not only meet these requirements, but to provide optimized alternatives to improve competitiveness. This person will work in a team to analyze both the short and long-range volume plans of the fleet, assess and respond to various inputs, and develop solutions that meet the organization's objectives.

  • Powertrain objectives may include customer requirements, compliance requirements, competitive needs, global/regional convergence requirements and support profitability challenges
  • Inputs to these plans include changes to the long-range plan, planning volumes, emissions requirements, technology changes, program timing changes, regulatory changes, internal objectives, critical part shortages, and others

A successful powertrain planner will be able to distill complex or data intensive studies into clear narratives for communication to senior management and for governance events. This role will include participation in the development of tools to improve operating efficiency in a powertrain area of operations. In addition, this person will work across several groups within portfolio planning as well as across the enterprise.
