Aon is looking for a Senior Enterprise Client Leader to join our Construction & Infrastructure team!

As part of an industryleading team, you will help empower results for our clients by delivering innovative and effective solutions within Aon's Construction Services business group. Reporting to the US Project Solutions Leader and serving as a member of the Project Solutions Executive Committee, this Senior Enterprise Client Leader will play a visible leadership role in managing large, sophisticated, and complex construction clients and programs, with particular focus on enterpriselevel clients, data centers, digital infrastructure, and other capitalintensive projects.

You will partner closely with Account Executives and Brokers to drive excellence across some of our most significant construction clients and programs, helping Aon shape better decisions for clients in an increasingly complex risk environment.

This is a hybrid role with the flexibility to work both virtually and from one of our local offices based in Detroit, MI;Chicago, IL; San Francisco, CA or Los Angeles, CA.

What the day will look like

Your impact as a Senior Enterprise Client Leader - Construction & Infrastructure (C&I), Large & Complex Programs:

  • Lead daily management of large and sophisticated construction risk programs from inception through closure, including highvisibility, multistakeholder projects (i.e. data centers, digital infrastructure, and other major CAPEX initiatives).
  • Serve as the primary client-facing leader building positive relationships with client risk management, construction, real estate, and finance partners.
  • Act as a trusted program and relationship leader to AEs and Brokers.
  • Coordinate closely with Broking, Claims, Analytics, Risk Capital, and other Aon specialty teams to deliver integrated solutions and highquality service to enterprise clients and large project sponsors.
  • Oversee key project insurance and wrapup processes and milestones (including program design, enrollment, administration, reporting, and closeout).
  • Maintain effective and productive relationships with clients, insurers, and internal stakeholders, with a focus on longterm satisfaction, retention, and growth of large, sophisticated, and complex accounts.
  • Assume independent responsibility in a clientfacing capacity on matters of higher importance and complexity, and may act as Account Executive for selected less complex accounts where appropriate.
  • Help develop client strategies, stewardship reports, and executivelevel presentations for large, sophisticated clients and programs.
  • Support Brokers on more complex placements as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

Client and Program Leadership

  • Lead and manage the full spectrum of Project Solutions for large enterprise clients, including builders risk/construction all risk, wrapup programs (OCIP/CCIP), environmental liability, professional liability, and subcontractor default programs.
  • Provide ongoing leadership and oversight for a portfolio of significant construction clients and projects, ensuring highquality execution and client satisfaction across all project insurance lines.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of client business drivers, project pipelines, and risk profiles, particularly in data centers, digital infrastructure, and other missioncritical facilities.
  • Serve as a key escalation point for operational, service, and process issues on large programs, driving timely resolution and clear communication to clients and internal collaborators.

Technical and Execution Excellence

  • Direct the gathering and analyzing data on exposures, loss history, and standard and unique coverage needs across project lines for submissions with the Brokerage Unit.
  • Supervise submission assembly/creation where assigned, ensuring completeness and accuracy for all project coverages.
  • Support the development of coverage structures, program documentation, and wording-related materials for the full Project Solutions offering.
  • Oversee team to manage client open items lists and respond to client adhoc requests in a timely and professional manner.
  • Deliver regular management reports on project insurance and wrapup status for both internal and client partners.

Planning, Reporting, and Renewal Management

  • Gather and analyze data and draft assigned elements of client service plans, stewardship reports, and other presentations tailored to client needs and executive audiences.
  • Actively support and supervise the renewal process for assigned accounts and programs, including all relevant project covers.
  • Review draft quote comparisons and oversee process for follow ups of binders, policies, and endorsements, helping ensure timely and accurate completion of renewals.

Leadership, Collaboration, and Influence

  • Demonstrate strong leadership within the C & I team by setting a high standard of service, accountability, and followthrough on complex programs.
  • Lead and mentor colleagues involved in program administration and client service, helping to develop capabilities around large, sophisticated, and complex construction accounts and multiline project solutions.
  • Co-create, improve, and deliver a more sophisticated go-to-market strategy for Aon's major institutional and enterprise clients and prospects. This includes building and leading all aspects of cross-functional teams focused on delivering Aon's best.
  • Integrate Aon's broader Risk Capital strategies and capabilities into C & I client engagements, ensuring clients benefit from a comprehensive range of capital, risk financing, and alternative risk solutions across their project portfolios.
  • Collaborate across Aon's broader Construction, Risk Capital, Analytics, and Specialty practices to bring coordinated and innovative solutions to clients.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of project insurance and wrapup processes and tools particularly for large, complex projects and digital infrastructure work.
  • As a member of the Project Solutions Executive Committee, participate in broader practice leadership discussions and initiatives, contributing insights from large and sophisticated client work.

Skills and experience that will lead to success:

  • 10+ years of successful insurance experience with construction accounts and/or large, multiline project programs (builders risk/CAR, OCIP/CCIP, environmental, professional, subcontractor default).
  • Demonstrated experience leading large, sophisticated, and complex clients and multistakeholder construction programs.
  • Experience working with large, complex construction projects (i.e. data centers, digital infrastructure, etc.) is a plus.
  • Strong clientfacing skills with communication skills that enable the management of multiple partners at different levels of a client organization, including senior leadership.
  • Consistent track record of managing complex processes and timelines, with strong attention to detail and followthrough.
  • Proficiency in PC office products such as Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook is required.
  • Ability to become proficient in the use of Aonspecific software tools and project insurance administration systems.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problemsolving skills, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fastpaced environment.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Risk Management or Business.
  • A Property and Casualty Broker's License is required, or must be obtained within 90 days of hire if not already active.

Pay Transparency

The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $200,000-$288,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant's education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant's geographic location.

This position is eligible to participate in one of Aon's annual incentive plans to receive an annual discretionary bonus in addition to base salary. The amount of any bonus varies and is subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable incentive plan.
