As a Customer Service Lead at Meijer, you set the tone for exceptional guest experiences. You'll guide frontend team members, support daily operations, and ensure every guest leaves feeling valued. This is a handson leadership role perfect for someone who thrives in a fastpaced environment and enjoys coaching others.

What you'll be doing:

  • Lead, coach, and support front end team members to deliver outstanding service

  • Serve as a go to resource for resolving guest concerns with professionalism and care

  • Oversee front end operations including checkouts, service desk, and guest flow

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming service environment

  • Support scheduling, training, and performance expectations for team members

  • Ensure compliance with Meijer policies, safety standards, and cash handling procedures

  • Collaborate with store leadership to improve processes and elevate the guest experience

What You Bring with You (Qualifications):

  • Passion for customer service with total engagement that conveys approachability to customers and fellow team members.

  • Initiates interactions with customers and peers.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication

  • Retail or other customer service experience preferred

  • Creative thinking skills

  • Ability to influence others

  • Ability to quickly build rapport and gain customer confidence to create repeat business

  • Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, bend and twist while handling product

  • Experience executing plans

  • Positive influence to create a strong team environment.
