Your role and responsibilities (Mandatory)

Production

• Responsible for sub assembly lines.
• Responsible for ordering KANBAN, backflash, parts through SFX of another tool.
• Responsible for AFLR stock accuracy.
• Trainer for sub assembly lines.
• Support to all lines for paperwork.
• Responsible for clear inventory issues with COGI.
• Escalates to relevant stakeholders, as necessary to remove roadblocks that impacted daily production targets.
• Ensure stakeholders process NCM material weekly as per the process.

Documentation

• Manages documentation to ensure proper version control in the document management system.
• Ensure that documentation is maintained in compliance with the company's/project's procedures, including format, receipt, registration, number, filing, recovery, and the issue of documents.
• Assists in the preparation of the project document list, periodically updates and issues the document list, as well as prepares and updates progress reports as per the schedule.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to support the unit in achieving the set production targets by adhering to the systems and processes. Each day, you will use machinery and equipment on the shop floor. You will also showcase your expertise by reading and interpreting the technical diagrams/instructions for assembly of products/systems/panels.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Conducting all types of assembly work to produce semi-finished or final products/systems/panels, including the packing where integrated with production lines.
• Performing work manually or by using light hand tools.
• Carrying out regular quality testing as part of a defined production process.
• Operating within standard operating procedures and maintaining a clean work area.

Qualifications for the role (Mandatory)

• High School Diploma or GED

• Be able to use the basic hardware tools (screw drivers, spaners, measuring tape, crimpers, cutters, etc)

• Preferably experience in manufacturing jobs.

• Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
