Job Description

Senior Metal Bellows is seeking a hands-on Heat Treat Technician to support our manufacturing operations. In this role, you'll be responsible for setting up and performing heat treating and brazing processes that ensure our precision components meet the highest quality standards. If you enjoy working with your hands, following detailed processes, and being part of a team that builds critical, high-performance products-this could be a great fit for you.

  • Set up and perform heat treating and brazing operations, including fixturing and furnace processing

  • Follow blueprints, job paperwork, and work instructions to ensure accurate and consistent results

  • Prepare parts by applying fixtures, braze paste, or shims prior to processing

  • Verify proper setup before processing to ensure quality outcomes

  • Remove and inspect finished parts to confirm they meet specifications and quality standards

  • Perform basic testing (tensile and brazability) and record results

  • Use precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers) to verify part accuracy

  • Enter job and labor information into computer systems

  • Maintain required training and operator certifications

Qualifications

Prior experience in a manufacturing environment with an understanding of heat treat processes, material behavior, and quality standards

Hourly Rate Range: $ 22.00- $27.00 per hour. Final rate will be determined by relevant experience, skills, and qualifications 15% second shift differential
