The Department of Neurology at the Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW) is seeking a dynamic and board certified / board eligible Neurology Stroke Specialist MD/DO to join our rapidly growing team. MCW/Froedtert Hospital is one of only three Comprehensive Stroke Centers in the state. You will be part of a highly respected group of cerebrovascular specialists who collaborate as part of the Froedtert Acute Stroke Team (FAST), which serves as a large regional referral center for patients with complex stroke.

  • Join a team with fellowship-trained stroke Neurologists many also boarded neurocritical and/or neurointerventional care

  • Engage with providers in emergency medicine, neuropsychology, neurosurgery, physical medicine and rehabilitation, psychiatry, neuro-imaging, pathology, and ophthalmology

  • Performs other duties as assigned by Chair or Chair-Designate

The Medical College of Wisconsin Department of Neurology is the largest and most comprehensive Neurology group in the state of Wisconsin, with programs inAdult Neurology,Child Neurology, andNeuropsychologywith more than 70 faculty. Our adult neurologists, diagnose and treat all neurological conditions including stroke, epilepsy, sleep, neuromuscular diseases, movement disorders including Parkinson disease, dementia, brain tumors, neuro-ophthalmology, and multiple sclerosis, and neuroimmunological disorders.

We work closely with our partners in neurosurgery, physical medicine and rehabilitation, psychiatry, radiation oncology, neuro-imaging, pathology, and ophthalmology across our missions of clinical, teaching and research.

Qualifications
  • Medical degree (MD, DO, or equivalent)from an accredited institution.

  • Board Certified in Neurology

  • Board Certification or eligibility in Vascular Neurology

  • State medical licensure or eligibility to obtain license in the state of Wisconsin.

  • Rank will be determined by the qualifications and experience of the successful finalist.
