Position Summary:

The Division of Pediatric Orthopaedic Surgery at the Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW) [nd Children's Wisconsin (CW), seeks a board certified / board eligible physician to join our expanding Division. This position is located in Milwaukee, WI at the Children's Wisconsin hospital campus. We are comprised of nationally and internationally renowned, dedicated group of faculty and staff with a strong commitment to clinical care.

Position Highlights:

  • Schedule includes flexible clinical, operating room, administrative, and/or research time.

  • Mentorship and teaching will be a part of the practice with interaction with residents, students and fellows.

  • Experience with and an interest in research is also a part of our division and department vision.

  • Board Certified / Board Eligible in Orthopaedic Surgery.

  • Performs other duties as assigned by Chair or Chair-Designate.

  • We use advanced equipment: Our state-of-the-art equipment helps ensure the best outcomes for our patients. We are one of only a few orthopedic programs in the United States that has anEOS scanner,which provides detailed, 3D images and limits radiation exposure.

Children's Wisconsin (CW) was ranked among the top pediatric hospitals in the nation and No. 1 in Wisconsin. With over 70 specialties and 675 providers, CW and its joint venture with the Medical College of Wisconsin and the Children's Specialty Group (CSG) are the largest providers of pediatric healthcare in the state, serving the children and families of Wisconsin with the highest level of care. CSG providers had 220,000 outpatient visits at 13 regional care sites, 67,000 emergency department/trauma center visits, and over 9,000 admissions. Qualifications:
  • Medical degree (MD, DO, or equivalent)from an accredited institution.

  • Board certification or eligibility in Orthopaedic Surgery.

  • State medical licensure, or eligibility to obtain license, in the state of Wisconsin.

  • Rank will be determined by the qualifications and experience of the successful finalist.
